Austin has a couple of hundred live music venues. Not only can you hear rock, you can hear rap, country, alternative, folk and more. Basically, if you want to hear it, Austin has a venue where they play it. One of the more famous venues is Stubb-s Bar-B-Q, which is a combination barbecue restaurant and outdoor music venue.
